As we approach the beginning of this journey, things are getting a bit hectic. We are arranging the household activities to run smoothly during our 3 months away. Thankfully my daughter Melanie will be staying here to keep everything in order.
One of the many things we’ve had to learn about is how to pack prescription medications for 90+ days. It’s like being a middleman between the doctor, the pharmacy, and the insurance company. Some of the medications have been filled and we’re still awaiting a couple. Definitely call the insurance company first to find out what they need to authorize the override.
We’ve also done a couple “practice packs”, compressing sweaters and thicker items that won’t be needed (hopefully) until half way through the trip. The non-vacuum bags seem to work pretty well, just get a tight roll and squeeze out the air. I got all my sweaters/leggings into one bag.
You’re amazing 🤗!!
Great idea to do practice packs. That is what NASA does!! Best practices!
How exciting you are in the count down😊
